Richard D. Schneider

Richard D. Schneider was born in Ludington, Michigan and moved to Henderson, Kentucky at the age of 14. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, he worked at the V.A. while helping to put his wife through dental school. Dr. Schneider then went to school at the University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry, graduating in 1982. He joined his wife, Dr. Barbara Schneider DMD, at her family practice where they worked side by side for 12 years.

Richard and Barbara have been married for 45 years and have two children. He is extremely involved with his family, including his three grandchildren. Dr. Schneider loves attending his grandson's theatrical performances, as well as his granddaughter's sporting events. He is a parishioner at Good Shepherd Catholic Church where he frequently plays the guitar with the church essemble. Being a UK graduate, Richard is a huge Wildcats fan and enjoys a good UK basketball game. He also channels his roots by cheering on his favorite baseball team, the Detroit Tigers!
